Quality Assurance, Safety, and Environmental Policy

Sonol Israel Ltd. and its subsidiaries Sprint Motors Ltd. and Sprint Transportation (1999) Ltd., (together “the companies”) are subject to all legal requirements, including the prevailing requirements and regulations in the fuel and lubricants sector, in accordance with the needs, expectations, and satisfaction of its customers. The companies are authorized to operate integrated management systems in compliance with ISO Standards ISO-9001 (quality assurance management-for Sonol Israel Ltd., for Sprint Transportation (1999) Ltd.), ISO-14001 (environmental management), OHSAS Standard 18001 (hygiene and safety), Israel Standard 9301 (for Sprint Transportation (1999) Ltd. safety and traffic quality management).
Sonol and its subsidiaries are committed to conducting a continuous and constant process of product quality improvement, reliable and efficient service, careful maintenance of the employees’ safety and health, and preventing and reducing negative effects on the environment whilst stricted standing in accordance with the law requirements. These matters have a decisive effect on the companies’ development and business success. The companies’ management is also committed to a process of identifying and assessing risks and forming a plan for safety management. If an unacceptable risk is detected, the management will take measures to reduce the risk to an acceptable level.

The companies’ management ensures that the following measures are implemented:

  • Adapting products to national and international standards and specifications.
  • Fulfilling the requirements and recommendations of regulatory and supervisory bodies with regard to safety and the environment.
  • Adapting products to the customers’ requirements and needs.
  • Verifying product availability at the required supply times.
  • Establishing supervised work rules for quality assurance, safety, and the environment.
  • Giving preference to suppliers who meet the quality assurance, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Rapid and effective handling of customer queries and complaints.
  • Minimizing accidents and risks to the employees’ health.
  • Minimizing safety hazards and risks, and quick handling of any such events.
  • Preventing environmental pollution.
  • Reducing consumption of natural resources.

The companies’ management is constantly taking action to improve tje combined managment system by regular and proper implementation in the following areas:

  • Allocating the necessary resources.
  • Measuring, monitoring and improving processes.
  • Performing internal tests in applicable matters.
  • Taking corrective and preventative action following the discovery of irregularities or possible irregularities.
  • Training employees in quality assurance, safety and the environment.
  • Training employees and managers for positions in quality assurance, safety and the environment.
  • Conducting management surveys on quality assurance, safety, and the environment.
  • Establishing targets and goals in quality assurance, safety and environment, and monitoring compliance with them.
  • Conducting drills of the necessary actions in an emergency.
